Nooo.....I prefer the Sherbert Fountain....they were much more likely to make you splutter and choke.
I bought my youngest son one of the Cadburys Miniature machines when he was little, I think I played with it more than him. Putting in my 2p and getting the little bars out. Then just putting the bars back in again. (I know sad....I've still not grown up!!)

actually, I've just come over to ask your opinion because as a Cake Lady you'll know better than me!
I'm making carrot cake muffins for the cake stall at my Vintage Fair but I want them to look a bit prettier and "girlier" although I appreciate they aint never going to be a cupcake!
Do you think it would taste awful if I used either a cinnamon or orange buttercream topping instead of the traditional creamcheese?
thankyou in advance for your opinion xx - 14 April 2011 at 07:30

Hello, I think buttercream would taste just as lovely on carrot cake muffins, but here's a couple of other suggestions instead of using plain cream cheese.
I made an apple cider cake & topped it with a cinnamon frosting make from mascarpone cheese, that was delicious & I think would work well with carrot cake.

Or if you want to jujh-up your cream cheese, beat 2 quantities of cream cheese with 1 quantity icing sugar, then just add some cinamon or OJ to taste!
Good luck with the vintage fair! x - 14 April 2011 at 08:47

These dip dab things are vile but my two little ones seem to love them - more for the lollipop than the sherbet, mind you. I'm sure I never ate them when I was a child...
